Inverness Ceilidh Band
Act fee up to £495
Inverness Ceilidh Band are: Jamie (Fiddle and Gaelic Song), Joseph (Accordion and Bagpipes) and Katie (Guitar). We are young musicians playing a range of authentic Scottish and Irish Music. Highly experienced in playing for different functions, We will tailor our music to your specific event, whether it be a wedding, ceilidh dance, concert or background music at a function. We are all able to call for dancing and guarantee that we’ll have everyone up on the floor!Â
We find that while our audiences very much enjoy a good ceilidh dance, it is at times nice to take a break to socialise and listen to some top quality authentic traditional music. As such, we play gaelic songs or instrumental sets between dances.
Joe is available pipe outside a church at a wedding ceremony, to welcome guests to a function or generally as required. He will also pipe with the band as part of a ceilidh. We've found that the Highland Bagpipes are a great way to round of a ceilidh with a strip the willow!
If you think your event requires a larger number of musicians, it is at times possible for us to (by individual negotiation) add further instruments, including drums, whistles/pipes, piano, mandolin, and vocals to our lineup. We have an extensive list of experienced colleagues which we can draw from, so please don’t hesitate to ask if you feel that your event would be better suited to a larger band.
We are happy to take bookings nationwide for all events, and can work with you to cater our music to your specific needs. All enquiries and queries are welcomed, we look forward to hearing from you!

Line-up
Jamie grew up immersed in the Gaelic music and culture of the isle of Tiree. Raised bilingual and fluent in Gaelic, Jamieââ¬â¢s style of playing the fiddle is flavoured by his understanding of Gaelic song tradition.
Joseph is an accordionist and Highland bagpiper from the small north-west Highland village of Achiltibuie. Here he was brought up steeped in traditional music and culture, which to this day remains an important part of his playing style.
