This show boasts multi-instrumentalists and singers lead by Chris & Simone. Chris, who's varied career has taken him from Jazz festivals to Top of the Pops, uses his experience gained in playing and writing for Glenn Miller's Brother (Herb Miller) to bring the songs to life. Saxophonist and vocalist, Simone, has performed with the New Squadroniares and played Lead Alto Saxophone in the later days of the Ivy Benson show band. First Class Swing have played at a private party for Vera Lynne. They were the band on the Military Wives 2013 Tour and have performed on TV with the Military Wives. They are also booked on a 110 date tour in 2014 called Bugle Boys which celebrates the life and times of Glenn Miller. First Class Swing have been very busy in 2014 with events in commemoration of the First World War and have invested in military uniforms for events of this nature. Of course the option is also there for them to play in evening dress or more casual clothing.
