BU Acapella were formed in July 2017 by Nic Chiappetta (All Together Now Series 2 & Joe Lycetts got your back) for the SkyOne series, Sing: Ultimate A cappella, hosted by Cat Deeley.
Since appearing on the program they have performed their shows in some of the most exclusive venues around London, such as Old Billingsgate, The Other Palace, Above the Arts, Pizza Express Live and Live at Zedel.
The style of BU Acapella is very eclectic, arranging everything from your favourite classic hits from the 80s/90s, to current chart hits. Due to the members of Belt Up all being trained at drama schools across London, such as The Royal Academy of Music, Sylvia Young, The Brit school etc their shows are entertaining, with many of their arrangements have a playful and often comedic edge. The members of Belt Up include: Wallis McDowall (Joe Lycetts got your back), Lara de Belder (Channel 5's comedy Bigmouths, The Alan Titmarsh Show) , Brian Raftery, Ed Court and Macaulay Nicholson.

We do have a PA, however it would be better if the client hiring us had access to a PA system. We do not own lighting gear.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets. (If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)
Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.
Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 6pm and to be finished around midnight.
(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
