The Jumping Jive Five

Act fee £1600 - £1995

The Jumping Jive Five are the all singing, all swinging heart of the party, getting everyone on the dance floor to Lindy hop, Jive and boogie the night away.

With stunning three-part harmonies, scorching horns lines and a rip-roaring rhythm section, The Jumping Jive Five not only hark back to the Golden Age of Swing with music from the likes of Benny Goodman, Louis Prima and Louis Jordan (to name but a few) but also manage to modernise their repertoire playing the occasional top 10 in a vintage swing style.

Featuring the finest musicianship from some of the country's best young jazz musicians, The Jumping Jive Five are a sure fire hit with everyone from those pesky kids of today, to the good old fashioned old timers!

Definitely a force to be reckoned with the The Jumping Jive Five members have collectively played for and supported such artists as Gary Moore, Taio Cruz, Pendulum, damage and The Streets, played prolific venues such as the 02 arena and Ronnie Scott's, worked in the studio for labels such as Warner brothers and Mercury Records and performed as session musicians on TV shows including the X-factor.

With their professional attitude and vast experience The Jumping Jive Five will not disappoint and have a big swinging future ahead of them.
