Chris (trumpet, composer arranger) has been leading this successful group since the early 2000's and toured within UK and further afield to many high profile events abroad. The all professional band consists of 2 saxophones, 2 trumpets, (optional trombone,) and rhythm section; piano, guitar, double bass & drums. Not forgetting our gorgeous singer Sara who leads from the front. Also available is our male featured artist Matthew. The clever musical arrangements mean that the sound the band create is indistinguishable from a fuller 18 piece big band, without the hassle or expense. Many of the tunes we play are from the classic big band era - Glen Miller, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, together with more recent big band artists such as Michael Buble and Lady Gaga/ Tony Bennett. We also have a wide selection of soul and motown classics that many clients like to utilize for later on in the evening.
