The band have been together since 2005 after receiving an Arts Council Award for creative writing. The current line up includes Sousaphone, trombone, two trumpets plus two drum/percussionists who often perform on stilts whilst playing the drums. The band play original versions of great tunes from every decade. each one of which has been put through the latin filter and come out with a new life be it samba, salsa, mambo, New Orleans, pop and ska. The show is unique and full of energy aimed at getting the party started in any indoor or outdoor space. Battered Brass can play as an acoustic roaming band or an on stage latin set-up style line up, ideal for any venue.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets. (If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)
Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.
Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 6pm and to be finished around midnight.
(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)

I just wanted to drop a line to say how monumentally class Battered Brass were on Saturday. They really engaged the guests. Getting on speakers, tables, stilts allowed the full floor to get involved. The bar staff won’t stop talking about them and the samba girls say it’s not only the best night they’ve ever worked, it’s the best night they’ve ever had full stop! They were simply sensational! Furthermore Mitch and the band were really affable, lovely to work with and were fantastic with all of my team.

Battered brass were fantastic! We hired them for a 40th birthday celebration in a big country hall and they totally blew us away. The communication was great and easy to make all the arrangements beforehand and they were really flexible with our needs too. Their repertoire was so fun and kept the audience dancing for the whole time. They performed some great new Orleans style songs that fitted in with us really well. Two of the drummers performed on stilts when they came back on which everyone enjoyed. There were 35 of us and everyone is still buzzing from a few weeks ago. I couldn't rate them higher.
